Mastering AI Motion Graphics: Our Latest Workflows

The creative industry is being disrupted, it's just how it is. Michael Kern, CCO, has been spending a bit of time leveraging AI tools to supercharge motion graphics workflows. During his paternity leave, he went all-in exploring the existing edge tech, unlocking a some new processes that you can add to your workflow.

Acknowledging that using AI for client work requires proper disclosure (ethical AF), Kern took on an internal passion project - animating the company's logo in various artistic styles, which we do each year and dub it the artist collective. This was the perfect sandbox to unleash AI's potential.

Here's the combo Kern used to craft his AI-powered masterpiece:

1. Midjourney (AI-powered text-to-image generator) for generating insane high-res paint splatter visuals as the foundation. It uses advanced diffusion models and natural language processing to turn text prompts into stunning visuals.
2. Adobe Firefly (image synthesis AI) to seamlessly blend those Midjourney visuals with the company logo. Firefly's AI algorithms can analyze images and generate new, synthetic visuals based on your inputs.
3. Topaz Gigapixel AI for upscaling and noise reduction, ensuring crisp, high-quality assets. This tool uses machine learning to intelligently upscale images while preserving detail and reducing artifacts.
4. Runway (video editing AI) for animating the upscaled visuals with mind-bending effects like zooming and depth manipulation. Runway's intuitive AI tools let you generate animations and apply cool effects with simple prompts.
5. Topaz Video AI for that final, ultra-crisp video upscale. Like its image counterpart, this tool uses AI to upscale videos to higher resolutions without quality loss.
